On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, the WALLACHIA eHUB Roadshow took place - Digital Perspectives: Databases and Artificial Intelligence in Local Administration, an event intended for the town halls of Câmpulung-Muscel, Lerești, Dragoslavele, Rucăr and Dâmbovicioara. It was held between 09:00 and 14:00, it was attended by 33 people, mayors, deputy mayors, councilors and employees in town halls enthusiastic and eager to explore new technologies and digital solutions for public administration.
The route traveled by the team of experts included the localities of Dâmbovicioara, Rucăr, Dragoslavele, Câmpulung-Muscel and Lerești and targeted technologies such as: Artificial Intelligence and Data. The agenda of the event focused on technology and included discussions on essential topics for the digitalization of public administration:
Databases are used in public administration - ways in which databases can optimize administrative activity and improve public services.
Evolutionary methods in artificial intelligence and applications - developments in the field of artificial intelligence and practical applications in public administration.
Ways of collaboration within the WALLACHIA eHUB project - integrating the efforts of different town halls in terms of digitization.
Question and answer session for participants – answers to specific questions about the project and digitization in public administration.
Interest in digitization was evident throughout the event, with town halls recognizing the importance of integrating modern technologies into public administration. The presentations and materials provided highlighted the ways in which the use of technology can improve efficiency and transparency in public administration.
The event was a success, demonstrating the strong commitment of local communities to innovation and digital development. We thank all participants and contributors for their involvement and interest.
