On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, the Wallachia eHub RoadShow took place - Innovation and Efficiency for SMEs: Cloud Technologies and Human-Computer Interaction for companies in the South-Mountain Region.
In this context, I returned to the community of Câmpulung to analyze the possibility of collaboration within the Wallachia eHUB project. The theme of the event brought to the fore the most common cloud computing applications available for SMEs as well as the advantages and disadvantages that come with the implementation of this technology. SMBs can use big data analytics services in the cloud to gain valuable insights and improve business operations using the computing power provided by cloud computing. Another appreciated advantage was communication tools for own employees - calendars, planners, multi-access files, etc. Regarding the second technology targeted - human computer interaction, the participants agreed with the trainers: The best interface is the one that is invisible, the one that allows the user to focus on the information and the task at hand, not on the mechanisms used to present information and perform the task.
The purpose of the visits to the targeted companies was also to present the brochure of services offered within the Wallachia eHUB project so that together we could analyze the categories of services that bring major benefits to each company visited. Concerns regarding the application process were removed by the provision by Spiru Haret University of a team of professionals who, through the dedicated Help Desk, facilitate the application to the services offered within the project.
During each visit to the participating SMEs, we organized question-and-answer sessions to provide detailed clarifications about the project and to discuss opportunities for digitization in small and medium-sized businesses. Within the Wallachia eHUB project we will continue these initiatives and organize similar events, for additional information you can contact us at: This email address is being protected from spambots.
